Solling-Vogler - Grünenplan, Roter Fuchs
• Der Naturpark Solling-Vogler liegt östlich des Wesertals und enthält ausgedehnte Wälder, sanfte Wiesentäler, klare Bäche, schmale Bergrücken, steile Hänge und tief eingeschnittene Täler. Der Solling ist ein 527 m hohes Mittelgebirge und der Vogler ist ein 460 m hoher Mittelgebirgszug des Weserberglands. Beide Gebirge bilden zusammen den 1966 gegründeten Naturpark. • The Solling-Vogler Nature Park lies east of the Weser Valley and contains extensive forests, gentle meadow valleys, clear streams, narrow mountain ridges, steep slopes and deeply cut valleys. The Solling is a 527 m high low mountain range and the Vogler is a 460 m high low mountain range in the Weser Upland. Wehrden - Schloss Wehrden, Weserhöhen
• Wehrden ist ein Ort mit 770 Einwohnern und liegt im Weserbergland am linken Weserufer. Nah an der Weser befindet sich das Schloss Wehrden, das Hermann Werner von Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht von 1696 bis 1699 auf den Resten eines älteren Gräftenschlosses erbauen ließ. Das Schloss ist bis heute im Besitz der Familie von Wolff-Metternich/von Köckritz. Der Park des Schlosses grenzt bis an den Weser-Radweg. Der etwas abseits stehende Drosteturm war der Lieblingsplatz der westfälischen Dichterin Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. Zwischen Schloss und Ort Wehrden liegt die katholische Kirche „Heilige Familie und Heiliger Stephanus“, die 1699 fertig gestellt wurde. An Wehrden grenzt ein Naturschutzgebiet mit Buchenwälder das Aussichten ins Weserbergland bietet. • Wehrden is a town with 770 inhabitants and is located in the Weser Upland on the left bank of the river Weser. Close to the Weser is Wehrden Castle, which Hermann Werner von Wolff-Metternich zur Gracht had built from 1696 to 1699 on the remains of an older moat castle. Today the castle is still owned by the von Wolff-Metternich/von Köckritz family. The castle park borders the Weser cycle path. The Droste Tower, which stands somewhat apart, was the favorite place of the Westphalian poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff. Between the castle and the town of Wehrden lies the Catholic church “Holy Family and Saint Stephen”, which was completed in 1699. Senne - Emsquellen, Krollbach-Bifurkation
• Die Senne ist eine Landschaft in der Region Ostwestfalen-Lippe des deutschen Bundeslandes Nordrhein-Westfalen. Sie liegt am Westhang des Teutoburger Waldes. Auf dem sandigen Boden der Senne befindet sich die bedeutendste zusammenhängende Heidelandschaft in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Das Quellwasser des Flusses Ems tritt aus sogenannten Sickerquellen aus dem sandigen Boden. Die sandigen Quellen der Ems sind deswegen dynamisch, denn der Sand lässt sich vom fließenden Wasser leicht forttragen. So tragen die Quellen die umgebenden Sandschichten allmählich ab. Die Ems mündet nach 371 km in der Nordsee. Der Krollbach weist in der Senne eine seltene Gabelung auf. Das Wasser des Krollbaches teilt sich in zwei Fluss-Systeme auf. Ein Teil fließt nach 480 km durch den Rhein in die Nordsee, der andere Teil fließt nach 440 km durch die Ems in die Nordsee. • The Senne is a landscape in the East Westphalia-Lippe region of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It lies on the western slope of the Teutoburg Forest. The most important contiguous heathland in North Rhine-Westphalia is located on the sandy soil of the Senne. The spring water of the Ems river emerges from so-called seepage springs in the sandy soil. The sandy springs of the Ems are therefore dynamic, because the sand can easily be carried away by the flowing water. The springs gradually wear away the surrounding layers of sand. The Ems flows into the North Sea after 371 km. The Krollbach creek has a rare fork in the Senne. The water of the Krollbach divides into two river systems.
