Schloss Bückeburg
• Die Bückeburg wurde 1304 als Wasserburg gegründet. Ab 1560 ließ Otto IV. von Schaumburg die Burg als repräsentatives Renaissance-Schloss umbauen. 1732 brannten einige Teile des Schlosses ab. Die abgebrannten Gebäudeteile wurden im Barock-Stil erneuert. • Bueckeburg was founded 1304 as a moated castle. From 1560 Otto IV of Schaumburg let the castle renewed as a representative Renaissance chateau. In 1732 some parts of the castle burned down. Blomberg
• Blomberg ist eine Stadt in Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen. Blomberg besitzt eine gut erhaltene historische Altstadt mit rund 250 Fachwerkhäusern. Die erste Besiedlung des Stadtgebietes fand zwischen dem 6. und 8. Jahrhundert statt. Um die bestehende Burg entwickelte sich ein wichtiger Handelsplatz. Mitte des 13. Jahrhunderts erfolgte die Stadtgründung durch den Grafen Bernhard III. zur Lippe. Heute hat die Stadt rund 16.000 Einwohner. Wanderer oder Biker können auf den markierten Rad- und Wanderwegen die waldreiche Naturlandschaft Blombergs erkunden. • Blomberg is a town in Lippe, North Rhine-Westphalia. Blomberg owns a well-preserved historical Old Town with about 250 timber frame houses. The first settlement of the city took place between the 6th and 8th century. Around the existing castle an important commercial place developed. At the middle of 13th century Count Bernhard III to Lippe founded the town. Today the town has about 16,000 inhabitants. Auf dem Harrlberg steht der Aussichtsturm Ida-Turm. • The Harrl is a wooded, 213 m high mountain in the Weser Uplands. It is located in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony. The Harrl is made of sandstone and claystones from the Lower Cretaceous. Herminen-Palais Bückeburg
• Das Herminen-Palais diente ursprünglich als Witwensitz für Prinzessin Hermine zu Waldeck-Pyrmont. Das Bauwerk wurde 1893–1896 in Bückeburg aus Sandstein im Stil der Neorenaissance erschaffen. Heute ist das Palais der Sitz einer berufsbildenden Schule. • The Herminen-Palais originally served as a widow's residence for Princess Hermine zu Waldeck-Pyrmont. The building was created in Bückeburg from sandstone in the neo-renaissance style from 1893 to 1896. Ith - Lüerdissener und Holzener Klippen
• Der Ith ist ein Mittelgebirgszug im östlichen Weserbergland. Er liegt in den Landkreisen Hameln-Pyrmont und Holzminden in Niedersachsen. Mit etwa 22 km Ausdehnung ist der Ith der längste Klippenzug Norddeutschlands. Die Felsklippen sind Überbleibsel eines alten Korallenriffs. Die bizarren Felsformen haben zu zahlreichen Sagengeschichten angeregt. An einigen Stellen wurden in germanischer Zeit Götter verehrt. Im Ith sind mehrere Höhlen bekannt. Heute sind die Lüerdissener und Holzener Klippen ein Dorado für Sportkletterer, wobei hier auch Marksteine des Extremkletterns zu finden sind. • The Ith is a low mountain range in the eastern Weser Uplands. It is located in the administrative districts of Hameln-Pyrmont and Holzminden in Lower Saxony, Germany. With an extension of about 22 km, the Ith is the longest cliff line in northern Germany. The rocky cliffs are remains of an old coral reef. The bizarre rock formations have inspired numerous sagas. In some places gods were worshiped in Germanic times. Several caves are known in the Ith.
