Oesterholz - Jagdschloss
Das Jagdschloss Oesterholz wurde 1597-1599 als Wasserschloss des Hauses Lippe in Oesterholz im Kreis Lippe errichtet. Aufgrund von Schäden durch den 30-jährigen Krieg wurde das Schloss bis 1665 renoviert und umgebaut. Aufgrund von Zerfall im 18. Jahrhundert wurde das Hauptgebäude des Jagdschlosses abgerissen. Die abgetragenen Baumaterialien wurden für den Bau des Kurhauses (http://Manfred-Tinebor.fotki.com/rumkullern/2022/p0222841s.html) in Bad Meinberg verwendet. Seit 1929 dienen die noch erhaltenen Gebäude des Jagdschlosses als Altenheim. The hunting lodge Oesterholz was built in 1597-1599 as a moated castle of the House of Lippe in Oesterholz in the district of Lippe. Due to damage caused by the Thirty Years' War, the castle was renovated and rebuilt by 1665. Due to decay in the 18th century, the main building of the hunting lodge was demolished. Wasserschloss Vinsebeck
• Das Wasserschloss Vinsebeck befindet sich im Ort Vinsebeck, Kreis Höxter / NRW. Das Wasserschloss wurde 1720 im Barockstil auf einer quadratischen Insel am Heubach, einem Zufluss der Emmer, errichtet. Es diente den Paderborner Domherren als Sommerresidenz. Heute ist das Wasserschloss Eigentum von Graf Wolff Metternich. • The Vinsebeck moated castle is located in the village of Vinsebeck, district of Höxter / North Rhine-Westphalia. The moated castle was built in 1720 in the Baroque style on a square island on the Heubach, a tributary of the river Emmer. It served as a summer residence for the Paderborn canons. Brüntrup - ehemaliger Kulturpark Windhöhe
• Der 10.000 m² große Kulturpark Windhöhe befindet sich in der Nähe des Ortes Brüntrup im Kreis Lippe/NRW. Dort entstand ab 1950 eine Miniaturwelt mit mehr als 2000 Figuren und Häusern die durch die Zeitgeschichte der Welt führte. 1981 starb der Gestalter der Miniaturwelt und der Kulturpark musste schließen. Seitdem wurde der Park durch Vandalismus und Diebstahl zerstört. Der Rest des verlassenen Kulturparks zerfällt und wird von der Natur zurückgeholt. • The 10,000 m² Kulturpark Windhöhe is a culture park located near the town of Brüntrup in the district of Lippe/NRW. • Die Schaumburg ist eine Höhenburg nahe der Stadt Rinteln im Landkreis Schaumburg/Niedersachsen. Die Burg steht in einem Waldgebiet auf dem 225 Meter hohen kegelförmigen Nesselberg im Wesergebirge des Weserberglandes. Die Burg wurde vermutlich im 11. Jahrhundert erbaut. Ihre erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 1119. Seitdem war die Burg der Stammsitz der Grafen von Schaumburg, Von der mittelalterlichen Anlage stehen noch drei der ursprünglich vier Türme, darunter der mächtige Georgsturm, der heute als Aussichtsturm bestiegen werden kann. Der Begriff Brevet bezeichnet im Amateur-Radsport eine organisierte Langstreckenveranstaltung, bei der von sogenannten Randonneuren eine vorgegebene, nicht ausgeschilderte Strecke (üblicherweise zwischen 200 km und 1400 km) mit passieren von Kontrollstellen innerhalb eines bestimmten Zeitraums geradelt wird. Bei einem Brevet legt jeder Fahrer seine Geschwindigkeit, Pausenzeiten und - bei langen Brevets - seine Schlafpausen selbst fest. Diese Fahrweise wird französisch "Allure Libre" genannt. Es sind alle Fahrräder zugelassen, auf denen sich der Radfahrer ausschließlich aus eigener Muskelkraft fortbewegt. Die meisten Teilnehmer verwenden eine Variante des Rennrads, welches oft über einen leichten Gepäckträger verfügt, der eine kleine Tasche mit Regenkleidung und etwas Proviant trägt. Dazu kommen Licht und je nach Jahreszeit Schutzbleche. Manfred benutzte 2010 ein für Langstrecken gut geeignetes Liegerad. Schiedersee
• Der Schiedersee liegt in der Nähe der Stadt Schieder-Schwalenberg im Weserbergland im Kreis Lippe / NRW. Die Länge des Sees beträgt etwa 3,1 km und die Breite bis zu 350 m. Der See wurde Ende der 1970er-Jahre als Stausee für die Emmer (Emmerstausee) angelegt. Neben dem Hochwasserschutz wurden in den 1980er-Jahren zusätzlich auch touristische Anreize geschaffen. Wegen des stetigen Sedimenteintrags aus der Emmer versandete der See fortwährend. Der See musste regelmäßig ausgebaggert werden. Damit Flusssedimente nicht mehr in den See gelangen, ist von 2012 bis 2015 eine Umflut errichtet worden. Durch einen Trenndamm wird die Emmer nun am Schiedersee vorbeigeleitet. Dadurch hat der Schiedersee jetzt nur noch drei Viertel seiner ursprünglichen Größe und seine ursprüngliche Stausee-Funktion ging vollkommen verloren. Zur Kompensation der Verdunstungs- und Versickerungsverluste im Schiedersee wird ein Teil des Wassers der Niese in den See geleitet. Das Wasser der Niese wird durch drei Schilfbecken geleitet, damit Schwebstoffe absedimentieren bevor es in den Schiedersee gelangt. • Schiedersee is a lake located near the town of Schieder-Schwalenberg in the Weser Uplands in the district of Lippe / North Rhine-Westphalia.
