„Koffie met Appelgebak“ ist ein Radmarathon über eine Streckenlänge von 200 km, der als Brevet ausgeführt wird. Die Route führt durch die deutsche Grafschaft Bentheim und durch die Province Overijssel in den Niederlanden.
Die Couch hatte 2 Reifenpannen! Beim ersten Plattfuß gab die Luftpumpe die Funktion auf, und beim zweiten Plattfuß wurde die Manteldecke zerschnitten. Aber bei beiden Pannen wurde Manfred von hilfsbereiten netten holländischen Anwohnern unterstützt. Mit dem zerschnittenen Mantel war das Fortsetzen des Radmarathons zwar nicht mehr sinnvoll möglich, aber der notdürftig geflickte Mantel rollte wieder bis zum Startort zurück. So wurden aus Manfreds Marathondistanz nur gemütliche 126 km.

The couch had 2 flat tires! With the first flat tire the air pump lost the function, and with the second flat tire the tire cover was slit. But on both mishaps Manfred was supported by helpful nice dutch local residents. With the slitted tire the continuation of the bicycle marathon was reasonably not possible, however, the provisorily repaired tire allowed to roll back to the starting point again. Thus Manfred's marathon distance became only snugly 126 km.
