Chiemsee
Der Chiemsee, auch „bayerisches Meer“ genannt, ist der größte See in Bayern und der drittgrößte See in Deutschland. Bekannt sind zwei seiner Inseln: Auf der Fraueninsel befindet sich ein Nonnenkloster, auf der Herreninsel steht das Schloss Herrenchiemsee von Ludwig II. Auf den Schiffen ist die Fahrradmitnahme gestattet. So ist die Querung des Sees und der Besuch der Inseln als interessanter Teil der Radlroute möglich. Lake Chiem, also called „Bavarian Sea“, is the biggest lake in Bavaria and the third-biggest lake in Germany. Known are two of its islands: On the women's island there is a monastery, on the man's island there stands the castle Herrenchiemsee of Ludwig II. On the ships the entrainment of bicycles is permitted. Das Schloss Neuschwanstein steht oberhalb von Hohenschwangau im südlichen Bayern. Der Bau wurde ab 1869 für den bayerischen König Ludwig II. als idealisierte Vorstellung einer Ritterburg aus der Zeit des Mittelalters errichtet. Neuschwanstein ist das berühmteste der Schlösser Ludwigs II. The castle Neuschwanstein stands above Hohenschwangau in southern Bavaria, Germany. The construction was established from 1869 for Bavarian King Ludwig II as an idealized image of a knight's castle from the time of the Middle Ages. • Die Adlerwarte Berlebeck ist ein Vogelpark im Ort Berlebeck in Lippe/Nordrhein-Westfalen. Landschaftlich schön und für den Vogelflug günstig auf einem Bergrücken des Teutoburger Waldes gelegen, beherbergt die Adlerwarte etwa 200 Greifvögel aus mehr als 40 verschiedenen Arten. Eindrucksvolle Attraktionen sind die Freiflüge der Greifvögel. Falken, Milane, Geier und Adler können frei fliegend bestaunt werden. • The eagle observatory Berlebeck is a bird park at the place Berlebeck of Lippe/North-Rhine-Westphalia/Germany. Nicely landscaped and well situated for bird flight on a mountain ridge of the Teutoburg forrest, the eagle observatory is home of about 200 birds of prey from more than 40 different species. Bügelmaschine - Ironing Machine
Die Bügelmaschine diente als vollgefederte Kampfmaschine zum Glattbügeln von Russlands Straßen auf Etappenlängen von mehr als 1.000 km :-) In 2010 zeigte sich, dass auch ein Liegerad für die russischen Langetappen gut geeignet ist. Brevet 400 km "Möhnesee" - 2016
• Startort/location: Lohne, Emsland | • Startzeit/date: 21:00, Fr. 03.06.2016 "Möhnesee" ist ein 400 km langer Radmarathon, der als Brevet geradelt wird. Der Streckenverlauf führt durch südliches Emsland, Teutoburger Wald, Osnabrücker Land und Münsterland. Nach der Überfahrt der Möhnesee-Talsperre im Sauerland geht die Route durch den Arnsberger Wald und wieder zurück ins Emsland. "Möhnesee" (Moehne Reservoir) is a cycling marathon with a route length of 400 km, running as a brevet. The routing leads through southern Emsland, Teutoburg Forest, Osnabrück Land and Münsterland.
