| 152 of 445 |  | | Wittekind-Linde | • Die Wittekind-Linde ist ein Naturdenkmal des Weserberglandes in der Ortschaft Elbrinxen im Kreis Lippe. Die Gesamthöhe der Sommer-Linde beträgt mehr als 30 Meter bei einem Kronendurchmesser von etwa 25 Metern. Im Guinness-Buch der Rekorde wurde sie mit 1000 Jahren zeitweise als älteste Linde Deutschlands geführt. Nach neueren Untersuchungsergebnissen ist die Linde "nur" 800 bis 900 Jahre alt.
• The Wittekind lime tree is a natural monument of the Weser Uplands in the village of Elbrinxen in the Lippe district. The total height of the large-leaved lime tree is more than 30 meters with a crown diameter of about 25 meters. In the Guinness Book of Records, it was temporarily listed as the oldest lime tree in Germany at 1000 years. According to recent research results, the lime tree is "only" 800 to 900 years old.
