The rose hips have burst. The small nuts are to be seen. The fine hair of the nuts is ordinarily hardly visible.

The frost has made the fine hair well visible.

It was not cold, ...the snow was melting.

In the valleys the snow had already melted. If I had known before starting that the roads on the hills are still covered with snow, then I would have taken my WinterCrosser-bike!

It was, nevertheless, a nice excursion :-))
