Der Rote Platz (Russisch: Красная площадь) ist der zentrale Stadtplatz in Moskau.
Von hier aus gehen die Hauptstraßen strahlenförmig in alle Richtungen zu den Autobahnen außerhalb der Stadt. Der Rote Platz wird häufig als der Hauptplatz Moskaus und des gesamten russischen Landes betrachtet.

As major streets of Moscow radiate from here in all directions, being promoted to major highways outside the city, Red Square is often considered the central square of Moscow and all of Russia.
