Rovinj (deutsch: Ruwein) ist eine Stadt in Kroatien an der Westküste der Halbinsel Istrien. Ursprünglich war Rovinj eine Insel, die aber 1763 mit dem Festland verbunden wurde. Im Westen und Südwesten ist die Stadt vom Adriatischen Meer umgeben, im Norden vom Limski-Fjord. Rovinj hat eine ähnliche abwechslungsreiche Geschichte wie Poreč. Rovinj is a town in Croatia on the west coast of the peninsula Istrien. Originally Rovinj was an island, but in 1763 it was connected with the mainland. In the west and southwest the town is surrounded by the Adriatic Sea, in the north of the Limski fjord. Motovun
Motovun ist ein kroatisches Städtchen Istriens. Sie liegt auf einem steilen Hügel über dem Tal der Mirna. Bereits vorrömischen Völkern diente der Hügel als Fluchtburg. Die heutigen Architekturen von Motovun stammen aus der venezianischen Republik vom 13. bis zum 18. Jahrhundert. Für den heutigen Tourismus spielen besonders die Trüffeln, die in den Wäldern unterhalb des Hügels von Motovun gefunden werden, eine bedeutende Rolle. Motovun is a small Croatian town in Istria. It is located on a steep hill, overlooking the valley of Mirna. Already for pre-Roman peoples the hill served as a refuge. The current architecture of Motovun comes from the Venetian Republic from the 13th to the 18th century. Trieste (deutsch: Triest) ist eine norditalienische Hafenstadt an der oberen Adria, direkt an der Grenze zu Slowenien. Es ist Hauptstadt der autonomen Region Friaul-Julisch Venetien und der Provinz Triest. Von 1382 bis 1918 gehörte Triest zum Herrschaftsbereich der Habsburger (Haus Österreich). Es war ihr bedeutendster Handelshafen und Stützpunkt der Kriegsmarine. Auch als Teil Italiens blieb Triest seit 1918 kulturell und historisch ein Ort des Zusammentreffens von Kulturen, Sprachen, Ethnien und Religionen („Città mitteleuropea“). Trieste is a North-Italian port in upper Adriatic directly on the border to Slovenia. It is a capital of the autonomous region Friaul-Julisch Veneto and the province Trieste. 1382 to 1918 Trieste belonged to the territory of the Habsburgs (House Austria). It was their most significant commercial harbour and base of the navy. Die Stadt Kevelaer liegt am Niederrhein im Nordwesten des Bundeslandes Nordrhein-Westfalen. Kevelaer ist in kultureller und touristischer Hinsicht interessant und bekannt als bedeutender Marienwallfahrtsort. Im autofreien Zentrum der Stadt liegt der Kapellenplatz mit der Gnadenkapelle, der Marienbasilika, der Kerzenkapelle und der Beichtkapelle. In der Fußgängerzone um den Kapellenplatz befinden sich zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants. Der Ortsteil Twisteden ist Startort von Randonneur-Brevets. The town of Kevelaer is located on the lower Rhine in the Northwest of the German State North Rhine-Westphalia. Kevelaer is interesting in cultural and tourist terms and known as important pilgrimage place. In the car-free city-center is the Chapels Square with Grace Chapel, Mary's Basilica, Candle Chapel and Confession Chapel. In the traffic-free environment around the Chapels Square are numerous cafés and restaurants.
