Wilhelmshöhe - Bergpark

• An der südlichen Grenze des Weserberglandes im nordhessischen Habichtswald befindet sich der Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. Wilhelmshöhe ist der größte Bergpark in Europa und ist als UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe anerkannt. Der Bau des Parks begann 1696 und dauerte etwa 150 Jahre.
Der Park ist insbesondere durch die in ihm befindlichen Wasserspiele, den Herkules mit gleichnamiger Statue, das Schloss Wilhelmshöhe und die Ruine Löwenburg bekannt.

• At the southern border of the Weser Uplands in northern Hesse is the mountain park Wilhelmshöhe. Wilhelmshöhe is the largest mountain park in Europe and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage. Construction of the park began in 1696 and took about 150 years.
The park is known in particular for its water fountain features, the Hercules with the statue of the same name, the castle Wilhelmshöhe and the ruin Löwenburg.
