Süntel - Hohenstein, Süntelturm

• Der Süntel ist ein Mittelgebirgszug im östlichen Teil des Weserberglandes in Niedersachsen, nördlich von Hameln. Der Hohenstein ist ein 340 m hoher Berg des Süntels mit Felswänden und tiefem Zerrspaltensystem. Am Südrand des Hohenstein-Plateaus fallen aus Korallenoolith bestehende Klippen steil ab.

• The Süntel is a low mountain range in the eastern part of the Weser Uplands in Lower Saxony, north of Hamelin. The Hohenstein is a 340 m high mountain of the Süntel with rock walls and a deep tearing system. On the southern edge of the Hohenstein plateau, cliffs of coraloolite drop steeply.
