• Horn ist ein Ort am Rande des Teutoburger Waldes im Kreis Lippe, Nordrhein-Westfalen. Der Ort wurde 1248 gegründet. Die alte Burg Horn wurde 1348 fertig gestellt. Von 1551 bis 1662 fanden hier, wie in Lemgo, Hexenverfolgungen statt. Mit Hilfe der Justiz wurden zaubernde Frauen verfolgt und als Hexen hingerichtet.
1970 wurden die Orte Horn und der Kurort Bad Meinberg zur Stadt Horn-Bad Meinberg zusammengefügt.
• Horn is a place on the edge of the Teutoburg Forest in the District of Lippe, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. The village was founded in 1248. The old Castle of Horn was completed in 1348. From 1551 until 1662, witch hunts took place here. With the help of the judiciary, witchcraft practising women were persecuted and executed as witches.
In 1970, Horn and the spa town Bad Meinberg were merged. The merged town is called 'Horn-Bad Meinberg'.
