Krasnodar (Russisch: Краснодар) ist eine Stadt und Verwaltungszentrum der Region Krasnodar in Russland. Die Stadt liegt am Fluss Kuban etwa 1200 km südlich von Moskau und etwa 150 km vom Schwarzen Meer entfernt.

Krasnodar (Russian: Краснодар) is a city and the administrative center of Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The city is located on the Kuban River about 1200 km south of Moscow and about 150 km north of the Black Sea.

Alexander's Arch

Alexander’s Arch of Triumph [russian: Александровская триумфальная арка (Царские ворота)] was dedicated in 1888 in honor of the arrival of Emperor Alexander III to Krasnodar.
The arch was demolished in the thirties of the last century.
In 2009 in Krasnaya Street the arch was restored.
