A magnificent and breathtaking photo. This view reminds me of so many of the gorgeous scenes from the movie, Dr. Zhivargo (sp.?). It's nice to be able to get a feeling of what the world looks like from the various windows of the "tower". I can understand how you could be drawn to its constantly changing and enchanting beauty. It must require a great deal of patience to wait for the seasons to change so you can capture the breathtaking beauty of the world below. The upcoming view of the patchwork quilt of colors of the fall foilage must be overwhelming from this height. I can't wait to see some of your autumn captures from these windows. Makes me wish I could see it all in person. Instead, my dearest Manfred, I shall rely on the capable lens of your camera--with you as my tour guide--to share your world of outstanding beauty with me.
