Piesberg

Piesberg is a mountain of the Osnabrück Land region, which is used by mining. The first documentary mention of mining in this mountain comes from the year 1461. In the beginning, coal was diminished here. Today the mountain is used as a stone quarry. Beside extremely hard sandstone, sound stones and slate stones rich in fossil also appear. Yearly about 2 million tons of rock are diminished here. A big part of Piesberg is thereby transformed from a mountain into a hole.

    Wasserkran
We name that "колонка". Is it remotely controlled?

Thanks, dear Marbess, for the Russian name. I did not know the name "колонка".
I would have used the German word "Kran" for translation: "паровозный водопроводный кран" :-)

I think, Колонка has no remote control. The water is controlled only by a hand-operated valve on the ground.
