Route LEL2013
Starting in Loughton, Essex, the London Edinburgh London route heads north along the east of England. After you cross the Humber Bridge, you head west through Yorkshire and Cumbria up to the Scottish border. From Moffatt, you take a loop through the Scottish lowlands, up to Edinburgh and back via the village of Eskdalemuir.
You then head back the way you came, all the way to Essex. Finally, you ride along quiet lanes all the way to the finish.
You'll ride just over 1400km long and climb about 11,000 metres.
There's the chance to start your ride in central London, outside Buckingham Palace.
