Merselo-Verona 2014   



Merselo-Verona 1200km Randonnée



Merselo-Verona is a 1,200 kms bicycle ride from Merselo/Netherlands through Germany and Austria over the Alps to Verona/Italy in less than 90 hours total time.





The bicycle ride is performed as brevet on the rules of Audax Club Parisien.
Organizer of this Audax randonneur brevet is Jan van Osch. The organization is made possible by Euraudax Randonnée Nederland.

Route:
Start in Merselo/Netherlands, going towards the Rhine in Germany, following that beautiful river until Speyer where we cross the Rhine, riding further on over “Schwäbische Alb” to the eastside of the lake Bodensee, in Bregenz into Austria, the next country, over the Alps, Arlberg and Reschenpass. From there we are riding on the beautiful Italian cycle paths along Adige or Etsch, free from cars. We make a loop to the Lago di Garda and the finish is in Verona at Porta Palio.
