Rovinj

Rovinj (deutsch: Ruwein) ist eine Stadt in Kroatien an der Westküste der Halbinsel Istrien. Ursprünglich war Rovinj eine Insel, die aber 1763 mit dem Festland verbunden wurde. Im Westen und Südwesten ist die Stadt vom Adriatischen Meer umgeben, im Norden vom Limski-Fjord. Rovinj hat eine ähnliche abwechslungsreiche Geschichte wie Poreč.

Rovinj is a town in Croatia on the west coast of the peninsula Istrien. Originally Rovinj was an island, but in 1763 it was connected with the mainland. In the west and southwest the town is surrounded by the Adriatic Sea, in the north of the Limski fjord. Rovinj has a similar diversified history like Poreč.
