The town of Poreč (German: Parenz) is one of the most important coastal towns in the peninsula Istria in Croatia.
The town is almost 2,000 years old and belonged to the Byzantine Empire. In the year 788 the city came under Frankish rule. From the 12th century, the city was part of the Venetian empire. From the 18th century until 1918 Parenz belonged to Austria. After the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy, Parenz was to the Italian city of Parenzo. 1945 Yugoslav Partisans captured the city of Parenzo, which changed then into the Croatian town Poreč.

Haha, dear Gipsy! I was higher than you!  :-D
Your photo shows the gable of the neighbouring house. I'm far above the gable and only look from above at the roof of the neighbouring house.  :-)
Were your legs stiff from car driving??  :o))
