Ha, ha, ha! :-D Dear Gypsy, do you really think that's my bike??? Someone once said to me, I certainly take better care for my bikes, than I would ever care for a girlfriend. <*:o)
It took some time figuring out how this bicycle works. I could just see two pedals. Then I realised every pedal is actually two pedals. Better concept than a traditional tandem! Now both of the cyclist can see where they are going!
I have already destroyed several helmets, while I wore them on the head!! I am very sure, that I would live no more, if I had worn no helmet in the past. Why you can't cycle with a helmet, dear Elena?
I do not know... Not conveniently... I can not cycle in a helmet and in spectacles... probably because I cycle a little and basically not on asphalt ... Earlier - in park (500 meters to the park on footpath) ... appear, that the helmet there isn't necessary, as there are no cars ... Now - in wood (3 km to the forest), truth partially on a highway (little)...
I need to accustom itself to a helmet... for discipline :) ... Today in wood has met the Real bicyclist - he was in a helmet :) ... But the majority cycle without helmets in our forest ...
Dear Elena, the majority of cyclists, which I met in Russia, wore helmets. And a female cyclist does not look very bad with a helmet :-)) Look at Zhanetta from bike club Caravan Moscow:
Modern helmets are light and well ventilated. My dear Elena, your brain is worth to protect it!!!
And the "Champion of Devlishness is: Sir Manfred Tinebor!" Just look at the chessy-cat grin. LOL! Great photo of you, Champ!
I enjoyed your "Dies und Das" photos - in spite of several of them being in German and/or Russian. I managed to get my translator working so I could understand what was being said. Even though I've never studied German, often when listening to someone speaking in German, the words sound a great deal like the English language--with a much harsher pronunciation--I am able to understand what the topic of conversation is about. Of all the European languages, I think German would be the easiest for me to learn. Both my beautiful husbands spoke about six/seven languages fluently. Both tried on several occasions to teach me French. That was an absolute disaster. I just slaughtered the French language; too much Southern accent to overcome.
No, no, I'm not a champ! Cycling is just a great fun! :-D English and French languages I learned in school. I tried to learn Russian a little bit by myself. Sadly without success :-| In the youth the learning was easier :-)))
What an experience, dearest Manfred! I'm happy you're here with us all to tell this story. I believe you are a "cat with nine lives"! How many do you now have remaining, eh?
Aww, Manfred--you are just too much! I love the heated seat idea. Did you really think up this idea? You're just devilish enough to do such a stunt. ROFLMAO! Cool!!!
You always make my day whenever I visit your site. There's always an "ususual something" among your photos. Keep up the fantastic photography, my dearest Manfred.
